THE SECOND YEAR OF THE GTIME PROGRAM IS USED BY...

University of Groningen (Netherlands) to introduce the students to a wide range of educational opportunities through its newest faculty, Campus Fryslân. This includes Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD programs in various fields, including the Master of Science (MSc) in Sustainable Entrepreneurship. The university also provides a dynamic learning environment with academic debates, group assignments, and exercises, as well as a focus on research methods and a Sustainable Entrepreneurship Project.

In addition to academic offerings, the University of Groningen provides a supportive community for its students. This is evident through the Campus Fryslân Conference, final project collaborations, and the hope to welcome students to the Campus Fryslân community.   • Block 1a, which runs from September to November, focuses on laying the foundations of sustainable entrepreneurship. This includes understanding the context and research methods relevant to sustainable entrepreneurship. Students also work in groups on assignments and exercises, engage in academic debates, and attend laboratory sessions where they apply tools and frameworks to case studies and real-life scenarios.

  • Block 1b, from November to January, continues to build on the foundations established in Block 1a. It also includes the Sustainable Entrepreneurship Project (SEP) and the Campus Fryslan Conference. The SEP likely involves practical, hands-on entrepreneurship skills, while the conference provides an opportunity for students to engage with the broader sustainable entrepreneurship community.

  • Block 2a, which takes place from February to April, delves into topics such as performance, leadership, NER (possibly referring to New and Emerging Risks), policy, and strategy. This block likely involves more advanced and specialized coursework related to sustainable entrepreneurship.

  • Block 2b, which takes place from April to June, is a crucial part of the program. During this block, students engage in the Sustainable Entrepreneurship Project (SEP) and the Campus Fryslan Conference. The SEP involves working in collaboration with a company to help solve a sustainability challenge. This provides students with real-world experience and the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired throughout the program. The Campus Fryslan Conference is an event where students have the chance to showcase their final project collaborations and engage in academic debates. Additionally, students work in groups on assignments and exercises, participate in laboratory sessions where they apply tools and frameworks to case studies and real-life scenarios, and have the opportunity to engage in Q&A sessions. Overall, block 2b is a dynamic and hands-on learning experience that allows students to integrate their learning and make a positive impact in the field of sustainable entrepreneurship.
